Charles Quattrochi


Charlie joined SkyWorks in January 2006. He provides guidance on the firm’s general strategy and assists in its global marketing efforts.

Prior to joining SkyWorks, Charlie was a Managing Director and Global Head of Citigroup’s Asset Finance Group. He rejoined Citibank in October of 1996, having been with the Bank from 1976-1981. Charlie held positions as Assistant Vice President of Citicorp Leasing (1976-1980) and Vice President of Citibank (1980-1981), and he was founder of the Equity Syndication Group.

Before his most recent work with Citibank, Charlie was General/Founding Partner of Fieldstone Private Capital Group, where he ran the Structured/Corporate Finance Group. Prior to Fieldstone, he was a Managing Director at Bankers Trust Company (BT Securities) heading Global High Yield Capital Markets and running Global Syndication of tax-advantaged products. At BT Securities, Charlie was responsible for public and private financings, including the leveraged buyout of Northwest Airlines and the raising of more than $2bn in capital.

Charlie received an M.B.A. from Stetson University and a B.A. from Cortland College.

Klaus Heinemann

Klaus joined SkyWorks as a member of its Advisory Board in 2011. He provides guidance to the firm’s asset management and advisory practices.

Klaus was raised in Hamburg Germany and graduated from Hamburg University with a degree in Business Administration in 1975. He joined Bank of America in 1976 as a graduate trainee. In 1981, he was appointed to Bank of America’s London office to establish an aviation lending unit for its EMEA division.

In 1988, Klaus moved to The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan (LTCB) to establish its global aviation banking franchise with offices in Tokyo, Singapore, London and New York. When LTCB was nationalized during 1998, its Aviation banking franchise and portfolio was sold to DVB Bank and Heinemann joined the Executive Board of DVB Bank, assisting the transformation of DVB Bank from a small local bank to a global transportation-focused bank during the years 1998 to 2002.

In late 2002, Heinemann joined the Board of AerCap Holdings NV and was appointed its CEO in March 2003. He retired as CEO in May 2011. Klaus was instrumental in restructuring debis AirFinance for DaimlerChrysler and preparing it for a trade sale to Cerberus in 2005.

James Stewart

James joined SkyWorks as a member of its Advisory Board in 2014. He provides guidance to the firm’s advisory practice.

James has over 30 years of aviation-related experience and has led and advised several key companies in the industry. His latest role was as Group Chief Executive Officer of the Mubadala Aerospace MRO network, encompassing Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT) and SR Technics. He had previously served as Chief Financial Officer of SR Technics in 2008 before being promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2010.

James served on the Board as a member of the Executive Committee of Sanad Aero Solutions, an engine and component leasing company, from 2011 to March 2014. His experience also includes serving as Senior Aerospace Advisor at Oak Hill Capital Management and Chief Financial Officer of Aerion Corporation (where he was appointed to the Board of Directors), and as Chief Financial Officer of Bombardier Aerospace.

James received his Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (with Honors) from Queen’s University in Belfast (UK). He was accepted into the Institute of Chartered Accounts in Ireland as an associate member in 1990 and as a fellow in 2000. He is an alumnus on the Duke of Edinburgh Study Conference and a member of The Wings Club.
