SkyWorks joined Professor Gerardine Doyle's Master of Accounting class at University College Dublin for a guest lecture exploring the intersection of accounting, tax, and aviation, and how these disciplines come together within the aviation sector. SkyWorks thanks Professor Doyle and the UCD students for the engaging discussion.

SkyWorks Securities LLC (“SkyWorks Securities” or “the Firm”), an subsidiary of SkyWorks Capital, has created and implemented a business continuity plan (“BCP”) to mitigate the effects related to unforeseen business interruptions. This BCP is designed to enable the Firm to continue or resume its investment banking advisory service in the event of an emergency or significant business disruption (“SBD”).
In the event of a SBD, SkyWorks Securities will communicate with its employees in several different ways. The Firm will employ a calling tree, which would be implemented by management in the event of an SBD that prevents the use of email or other electronic means. The BCP also addresses the Firm’s ability to move all employees to remote work and the Firm’s reliance on a cloud-based storage and computing environment supported by significant geo-redundant backup protocols.
Recovery time for most of the applications involved in the Firm’s advisory services and relocation to alternate locations is expected to range from immediate to 24 hours.
The Firm currently communicates with its clients using the telephone, email, WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS texts, fax, US Mail, its affiliate’s website, and in person. In the event of a SBD, SkyWorks Securities will assess which means of communication are still available and use the means closest in speed to the means used in the past.
Additionally, if all traditional means of communication are not available, SkyWorks Securities will post emergency contact information and instructions on www.skyworks.aero regarding access to the Firm’s representatives.
SkyWorks Securities maintains its hard-copy books and records primarily at its main office in Greenwich, Connecticut and back-up books and records at alternate locations. Electronic records are stored in cloud-based applications with multiple geo-redundant backups. If records are lost as the result of a business disruption or for any other reason, SkyWorks Securities has the means to physically recover data from both physical and electronic back-up locations.
The Firm’s BCP may need to rely upon the recovery and restoration of services provided by various critical business constituents both at its primary and alternate locations. SkyWorks Securities has considered the extent to which the Firm may be able to depend upon these business relationships during an SBD as a part of its decision to do business with the constituents.
Where possible, the Firm has engaged and/or vetted alternate arrangements to avoid business disruptions in the case of a business constituent not being able to provide needed goods or services in an emergency.
